Whistler Weekend
I can't believe I'm posting these pictures a month late. But like Heather said, better late than never. This is from our fun trip to Seattle/Whistler last month, January 21-25th. Heather and I flew up on Thursday and then all of us girls drove to Vancouver on Friday. We had such a great weekend! We celebrated Jenny's 25th birthday on Friday night by going out to dinner in Whistler Village. Saturday we spent the day exploring the Village and hanging out. We made dinner Saturday night and watched some movies. We headed back to Seattle Sunday and then Heather and I flew home Monday night. It was great to spend time with all my girls. I love them so much!! It was also pretty awesome to be up in Whistler just a few weeks before the Olympics started. Whistler was all decked out and we got to go to the official Olympics store at the village.

RGB
These are my two assignments from this past week for my Photoshop and Color Theory classes. The assignments ended up being the same for both classes. These are my takes on the RGB color model. The second picture is one my favorite! My professor told me it was the best work he's seen from me! How exciting?! I definitely pushed myself with these, trying out fashion photography. I'm hoping throughout the semester I will have a lot more fun fashion images to post on here! Thank you Heather for all your help with this!

Last work day at Nansensgade
So, as the title suggests, Allan had his last work day at the old shop today, and i doubt that another tattoo will ever be made at that address.
At least i'm hoping that won't happen!
I've been packing most of the day and while it's a little weird to look at the bare walls and think "i painted that line" or take down a bunch of shelves i put up, i am not really feeling sentimental at all.
This has been a long time coming, particularly if you count the years we've been dreaming about moving, and we're so ready to start our new lives at the new shop.
Which is still not finished, but let's not get into that!
Slowly getting there...

Ps, This is our 100th post on the shop blog, hurray for that!

But don’t let a nick name like that bother you. When people, especially girls, first starting getting these types of tattoos there may have been a certain stigma attached to having one, but not anymore. They have become way to common place. Today it is normal to find one on the average young housewife and that is only because they have become generally accepted in today’s society.
It’s hard to find someone who does not think tribal tattoo designs are cool. Even if none of the three of them in this picture does it for you, there are thousands more you can look at, probably even more than that. In short there is really no end to them and if you are really looking to get one, you will, sooner or later, find the one you like and when you do you will enjoy it all that much more.
