Merry Christmas

source

Merry Christmas friends! I thought I'd share some of the Christmas decorations around my house. The painted decorations were done by my mom. I love our nativity and those gorgeous angel figurines, they're some of my favorites. Some of these take me back to when I was little. When I was growing up Heather and I helped our mom make an advent wreath out of felt. We still have it but it's not the prettiest anymore since it's covered in wax from being used so much. What are some of your favorite Christmas decorations?

I hope you all have a wonderful Christmas and are able to spend it with your families and loved ones.

This is a picture we took last night. My mom had been wanting to get a family picture, so I set up my camera and we had some fun. Merry Christmas from my [crazy] family to yours!

hello, december

I can't believe that it's December already! This year has gone by way too fast. I can't wait to get some decorations up, hopefully this week! I know it's easy to get wrapped with everything that must get done before Christmas, but don't forget what it's all about!

What do you love most about the holiday season? I love the warm and cozy feelings of it all! The lights, tree, decorations, music, mistletoe mochas, delicious food and more importantly, getting together with friends and family to celebrate the precious gift of Jesus.

Happy December, dear friends!

5 Things I Love About Winter

1. Mistletoe Mocha: This is a Moxie Java holiday special, but I usually order it year-round. It's a peppermint and irish cream mocha. So good! Love it!!

2. New In Town: This is a perfect winter movie! It's a great story with an amazing cast! Heather, Jenny and I love the midwest accents in it. Dontcha know?!

3. Christmas Lights: There's nothing like driving through the snowy neighborhood at night looking at everyone's beautiful Christmas lights. My dad put up the lights on our house last week and I'm hoping our tree will go up tomorrow!

4. Potato Soup: Love hot homemade soup on a cold winter's day!

5. Christmas Music: Like most girls my age, when you think Christmas music you can't help but remember the boy band Christmas cds. I loved Hanson's Snowed In and NSYNC's Home For Christmas and you can't forget 98 Degree's This Christmas. Love it!
