Wardrobe Wednesday

I wore this outfit a week and a half ago to church with the sister.  We went to Sunday School and church, came home for a bite of lunch and then ran out for some errands.  I borrowed Heather's cardigan and boots, and my mom's necklace. This skirt had been hidden in my closet, but the sister was inspired by an outfit post on a blog she saw and pulled it out to wear to work.  I remembered how much I loved it last summer and re-worked it for winter.

Wardrobe Wednesday

It's been a while since I've done a WW post. I've been lacking inspiration with my clothes for a while. I just cleaned out my closet and I'm getting ready to do the 30x30 remix in the coming weeks. I can't wait to work with what I've got and come up with some fun outfits. I wore this outfit on Sunday to church with the sister.  I got this top on sale at Target.  I've been limiting spending, but splurged a little to add some nice tops to my wardrobe.

Wardrobe Wednesday

I found this tutorial (video posted below) a couple years ago and started making my own shredded t-shirt. I finally finished it a couple months ago and wore it for the first time on Friday.


Note: It doesn't actually take years to make, I thought I was finished with it, but decided I wanted to shred it more. It got put on my to-do list and forgotten about. It's really easy, but take plenty of breaks and massage your hands.

Like I said, I wore this outfit on Friday and almost froze to death taking pictures outside. I probably would have worn my black cardigan over this, but I couldn't find it and didn't want to cover up this shirt. I love it so much that I kind of want to make another shirt! Anyway, I felt like a rockstar in this outfit, especially when I went out later and put my faux leather jacket on.

I wore this last Friday. It was a pretty uneventful day. I ran some errands, stopped at Moxie Java and then organized my desk and closet. Nothing special, but I really loved this outfit!
