Fear Not

I haven't wanted to write anything because there's not much I can say. As you know from my previous post [see HERE] Kathy's trial started at the beginning of May. I've attended as much of it as I could; I missed one and a half days because of a temp job. It ended up being 5 weeks long.

The jury came back on Monday with a guilty verdict. Needless to say, her family and friends are absolutely devastated. As much as my heart is aching, I can't even begin to fathom how Kathy and her family are feeling. Their lives have been changed forever. All I can do is cling to God and His promises, because there is absolutely no understanding that will ever come; not for any of us. The sentencing will be in August. We know that God is bigger than this and are trusting that He will redeem Kathy and this situation. Please continue to pray for Kathy and her family in the coming days.

Is anyone else excited as I am that it's finally Friday? I don't know about you guys, but it's been a loooooong week!

THIS started last week and I've gone almost every day. It's gone alright so far, but it's emotionally exhausting. Plus, it's already behind schedule by 2+ days. Please continue to pray for the truth.

Then I got a call Wednesday from Office Team and I accepted a two day (yesterday & today) assignment at a law firm in downtown Boise. Yesterday was mostly spent typing while I was being dictated to. I'm not sure what today will look like. Besides all that I've had meetings and a jewelry party too.

I'm thankful that I have work that's keeping me busy, but I'm definitely ready for a weekend with no major plans. I'm hoping to relax and enjoy the beautiful weather we're having here.

I'm not even sure where to begin. I don't even really know what to say.

I guess see Heather's posts HERE and HERE first. Kathy's trial has been post-poned multiple times and it is finally here.

The trial starts today or tomorrow, they might be finalizing juror selection today and then starting tomorrow. I'm lucky to have a job that is so flexible. I'll be able to attend most of the trial with my parents. Her family isn't allowed in the courtroom because they're witnesses. We don't want her to feel alone.

No matter what you hear or what you believe, please join me in praying for TRUTH. That both the prosecution and the defense will seek the truth throughout this trial. Pray for the judge and the jurors; for our justice system. Pray for the media and the public. Pray for Kathy and her family.

I can't even begin to comprehend this. It's going to be an emotional journey. God is in this and He is bigger than this. I can't wait to see how He is going to be working through this process.

Hi everyone, I just found out that the trial has been post-poned once again [this is the fourth time].  I'm praying that this is a GOOD thing.  Pray for rest for Kathy while things get worked out.  Pray for truth. Pray this is resolved soon.
