Wardrobe Wednesday

I wore this dress a couple Sundays ago to church. I got a giftcard from Express for my birthday and I ended up getting this dress. I had tried on a different color in the store and then decided on this one. I like it, but it kind of slinks up when I walk, like wayyyy too much. It's a little awkward trying to keep it pulled down. Bahh. Kind of frustrating. Besides all that I like how I styled it, with the statement necklace and mixing black and brown.

I wore this on Saturday night to The Matador. I was going to wear a dress, but after trying three on and not being very happy with any of them I settled on this. I felt so fierce!

Fashion Friday: Birthday Dresses

I came up with this fun inspiration board for ideas for going out for my birthday. Heather and I didn't do anything to celebrate our birthdays last year with our friends. This year we're going out to The Matador with some of our local friends. Then we're hoping to celebrate with our Seattle friends when we visit in October. We're going out tomorrow night and I'm not quite sure what to wear yet. My only ideas include these Jeffrey Campbell heels, because really, what other reasons do I have to wear them in Boise? haha. So that's what I'll probably style my outfit around. We'll see what I come up with!

Wardrobe Wednesday

It's been a while since I've done a Wardrobe Wednesday post. I wore this on Sunday to church. I was running a little late and so I had to decide on an outfit fast. I love this pencil skirt from Target, partly because it has pockets and partly because it's an extra small. Don't ask me how I fit in it, but it sure makes me feel good when I wear it. Haha.

After church I changed into some boyfriend jeans, a white tank and a lace top with some black t-strap sandals. It was the perfect outfit to see Harry Potter 7 Part 2. I just with I had taken a picture of it too. Guess I'll have to save it for another post.

Wardrobe Wednesday: Easter Outfit

I got this dress a month ago with Easter in mind. I was excited to finally wear it on Sunday, but it was almost to cold for it. I ended up changing into jeans and a sweater when I got home from church. I can't wait until it gets warmer so I can remix it. I love how great the dress went with my shoes. I hadn't planned on wearing them, but they just seemed to fit together. I got the shoes a couple years ago and haven't worn them very often, but I love the fun colors!

Wardrobe Wednesday

Another week with not enough time. I have midterms this week and a semi-huge project that's due on Sunday. I can't wait until Spring Break next week. I definitely need some time to get my head on straight. Here's a great outfit inspiration board I made on Polyvore. The dresses and the shoes are each under $100! Gotta love affordable styles!
