Wardrobe Wednesday: Jewelry

I'm back this week featuring another great statement necklace. Spectrum is a bright and colorful necklace that has seven strands of black braided thread knotted with an eclectic mix of genuine tiger's eye nuggets, shells and beads in shades of mint, turquoise, purple, peach and amber.

Spectrum is 20" long with a hematite plated 4" extender and lobster claw closure. The extender is long enough that you can noticeably shorten or lengthen the necklace to fit whatever necklace you're currently wearing. Like I said, it's a great statement piece. It has a matching set of bracelets and earrings. Although, just like the Wow Factor, I do like mixing and matching the necklace with other earrings and bracelets too. Since it's so colorful you can wear it with ANYTHING. It can instantly make your outfit POP!

Wardrobe Wednesday: Jewelry

The jewelry of the week is the Wow Factor necklace! It's a gorgeous six-strand necklace: one of creamy faux pearls, one of hammered gold plated beads, one of hammered silver plated beads, two gold plated chains and one silver plated chain. It's 18-1/2" long with a 4" extender and lobster claw closure.  There are matching earrings and bracelet.

This set is a fun twist on a regular pearls. I love that it's made with mixed metals, giving more options for the rest of your jewelry if you don't want to be too matchy-matchy. It works great with both dressy and casual outfits.

Wardrobe Wednesday: Jewelry

Today I'll be showing how to wear one necklace four different ways. Like I've said before, coming up with new ways to mix and match the jewelry is one of my favorite parts of my job.

The necklace featured today is Costa Rica. I consider it a staple in my jewelry wardrobe. It has a fun bohemian feel to it.

Costa Rica is 32" long, five-strand necklace with a 4" extender with lobster claw closure. Two strands are delicate silver chains, two strands are heavier silver chains and the final strand is made of beautiful beads.

ONE: Long

TWO: Criss-crossed (half of it doubled) with Stylin' enhancer

THREE: Long, framing the Botanical Necklace

FOUR: Doubled with Stylin' Enhancer

I've used the Stylin' enhancer for this demonstration, but I also like to use an enhancer called Silver Swirl and I've even used the Flipside's teal side [see HERE]. These are just a few ways to wear Costa Rica; there are so many more possibilites!

See me wearing Costa Rica on Day 4 (with the Silver Swirl) [HERE] and on Day 15 (with Botanical) [HERE].

Fashion Friday

Since I didn't do a jewelry post on Wednesday, I thought I'd slip one in for a Fashion Friday post. Today I'm featuring two different pieces: Cutting Edge toggle bracelet and Golden Girl pin and magnetic enhancer.

The Cutting Edge bracelet has matching earrings and a fabulous asymmetrical necklace (36"). I love the gold and silver mix. It's a great way to add either metal to your outfit. I've been using it to incorporate more gold into my outfits. I love to wear it on the same wrist as my silver watch and then add a different bracelet (silver, gold, antique brass, or beads, etc.) on the other wrist. I've never had a toggle bracelet before, so I was unsure about whether or not I should be worried about it falling off. But I've never had any problems with it. I like that it can be adjustable if I want it to be. It's 7&1/4" to 8&1/4". My favorite part is the great balance between the polished silver and the gorgeous texturized gold.

The Golden Girl pin and magnetic enhancer is similar to the Flipside enhancer I featured last week. See [HERE]. It has a magnetic closure on the back so you are able to easily add it or remove it from various chains. The difference between the Flipside and Golden Girl is that Golden Girl is also a pin. It's so versatile! It's eye-catching on a simple gold chain and looks chic on a strand of pearls. It is a bright and gorgeous textured gold with sparkling crystals in the center.

Wardrobe Wednesday: Jewelry

I'm back with another jewelry post! I promise I will get around to showing different ways to wear the pieces. I've been spending time lately mixing and matching and coming up with fun, new ideas! It's one of my favorite parts of my job, besides giving away LOTS of FREE jewelry!

The piece I'm showcasing today is called Flipside and it's in the Spring catalog. I love how versatile it is! Flipside is a magnetic enhancer that can be added to various necklace chains. The loop at the top is magnetic, so it can easily be clasped and unclasped over almost any sized chain.  I love that it's double-sided with both red and teal. It's a great statement piece for Spring and depending on what you pair it with, it can be both causal and dressy.

Wardrobe Wednesday: Jewelry

You may remember my little announcement last month [see HERE]. I've been wanting so share some of my favorite pieces of jewelry. I finally got around to taking some pictures this weekend.

Today is for the Blue Lagoon necklace. It's 36" long with a lobster claw closure. It's made with genuine mother-of-pearl and faux turquoise, glass and beads. This is perfect for spring and adds a little color to any outfit. I love the unique and gorgeous details of the beads.

Wardrobe Wednesday

FINALLY! I put on this cute outfit last Thursday after I got home from a short day of work. I got this cute dress from Target a week or so ago. What's amazing is that it can also be a skirt! I LOVE it! Who doesn't want to add pieces to their wardrobes that can be worn in multiple ways? I borrowed the cardi and belt from Heather. I topped it off with the platforms to celebrate that it finally felt like spring here. I can't wait for more beautiful days like that.

Wardrobe Wednesday

Considering how busy this month has been I'm surprised this is just my first time not doing a real Wardrobe Wednesday post. Two weeks ago there was a glimpse of Spring here, but that was short-lived when it snowed last week. I can't wait for warmer weather! Here's a cute outfit I came up with on Polyvore. It was inspired by the outfit Holly Conlan wore at the Sara Bareilles show in November. She had a great blazer similar to this that I was crushing on.

Wardrobe Wednesday

I wore this outfit Sunday to church. Everything but the tights and platforms belong to Heather. Thanks sister for letting me borrow such a cute outfit! I love having a second closet!
