Pinterest: Photography Wishes

Between the trial and my new business I haven't had much time lately to devote to my photography. It's a little strange going from taking pictures multiple times a week for over a year to basically nothing. I know I'm where I'm supposed to be. But I don't want to just completely stop taking pictures, because it's something I still love.

Once the trial is over and I have at least the next two months scheduled for my business I'd like to take some time to work on some personal photography projects. I want to continue to experiment with my Holga and film, but also work with digital.

Here are just a few things from my wish list on Photography Wishes board on Pinterest. Most of my pins are from The Photojojo Store. They have so many fun photography accessories at very reasonable prices!

Oldies

During our last visit to my grandma's my mom was given an envelope full of old pictures that my aunt had taken of her when she was growing up. There were pictures from when she was really little to when she was a teenager. I've seen her growing up pictures before, but most of these were silly ones that her sister took. It was really fun to look through and see resemblances of Heather and myself in her. Mom [reluctantly ;)] gave permission to post a few favorite on my blog. Thanks mom!

laughter

I thought I'd share one of my digital pages that I worked on over the weekend [even if it's not journaled yet].  I still can't believe how easy digital scrapbooking is.  I made significant progress in completing my 2008 album.

I use Creative Memories software to create my albums.  Once I'm done creating an album or another kind of digital project, I just upload it and order it.  Heather and I finished the last half of our 2007 album at the end of last year.  It's pretty awesome because we're each working on different years.  When we're finished we can duplicate the albums, add or take away certain things, and then we can each order our own copies.

I feel like I can see a light at the end of the tunnel when it comes to getting current on my albums.  I think it might actually be possible to get caught up by my birthday!  I'm looking forward to participating in my mom's monthly crops and National Scrapbook Day, which is coming up in April!  For me, it's not about scrapbooking, but getting my pictures in albums so that I'm able to enjoy them.
